This individual will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day HR support, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and general escalations with a solutions-oriented approach. Facilitate conflict resolution and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Recruiting and Staffing Support: Participate in the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, assisting in the development of job descriptions, and actively engaging in candidate sourcing. Conduct initial screenings of potential candidates and coordinate the hiring process to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience. Collaborate with the HR leadership in implementing and refining recruitment strategies, including employer branding initiatives, to attract top talent to the organization. Assist in the management of the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate records, and generating recruitment-related reports for analysis.
  • HR Administration: Oversee day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including processing employee documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Manage the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Leave Management: Administer leave policies, including FMLA and other time-off requests. Collaborate with leadership and employees to ensure proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a comprehensive orientation and smooth integration into the organization. Coordinate with various departments to provide a positive and welcoming onboarding experience.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure that HR practices align with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain HRIS records and generate reports to support HR metrics and analytics. Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement in HR processes.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Serve as backup for payroll processing and management, ensuring accurate and timely payroll cycles. Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, as needed. Collaborate with finance and HR teams to reconcile payroll and benefits-related discrepancies, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist/Administrator role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience in payroll processing and management required. Use of Paylocity or Paycom, a plus.
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration in the healthcare industry, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
