Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an IT Business Partner to support our business in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This organization supports the Boeing Fort Walton Beach Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business.


The IT Business Partner serves as a liaison between the Global Technical Operations business at Fort Walton Beach and Boeing Enterprise IT. Collaborating closely with various Boeing organizations and functions, this role coordinates IT resources to ensure alignment with business needs. A strong understanding of application architecture and infrastructure requirements is essential to effectively support and develop capabilities that drive the success of the Fort Walton Beach MRO business.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop business capability roadmaps aligned to business strategic initiatives & goals
  • Partner with the IT capability teams throughout the enterprise to ensure expectations are met
  • Create reports and metrics needed for efficient site operations
  • Serve as an IT system expert for the primary business systems used at the site
  • Understand business issues or initiatives, engage the right resources, evaluate options, and help deploy the best solution with first-time quality
  • Present IT service offerings and processes to business unit leaders and end users

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrate systems thinking experience across broad process and architectural landscapes
  • Demonstrate organization skills to effectively work in cross-functional, multi-level environment with shifting priorities and requirements
  • Excellent organizational and planning experience
  • Knowledge of the primary business system used, GOLDesp, or equivalent manufacturing/MRO system experience
  • Report writing with SQL experience
  • Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
  • Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related
