Business Generalist
Job Summary:
Our client in Raymond, OH is looking for a Business Generalist. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
The Business Generalist holds a critical function in advancing Our Client's mission by ensuring the effective execution of ADC business objectives and strategic initiatives. This position applies business acumen and organizational methodologies to coordinate with key stakeholders, systematically gathering and aligning business requirements within an established framework.
The Business Generalist executes and maintains systems for tracking performance against business and operational goals, thereby enabling transparent reporting and data-driven decision-making at the executive level.
Furthermore, the role encompasses administrative oversight of enterprise template development, support for business training initiatives, and facilitation of general meetings.
  • Develop and maintain calendars, visual communication tools, & templates to promote standardization & ensure clear communication of Business Planning Milestones.
  • Engage management, technical and product development leadership to collect Business Theme Requirements & Organize within the NA Regional Business Framework.
  • Aggregate quarterly Business results & share with top management to guide decision making and inform Strategic Planning efforts.
  • Support enterprise system for managing ADC Business Portfolio.
  • Support other Business Planning Group members with analysis of data, summary of information, and content sharing with Executive Stakeholders.
  • Coordinate schedules, timing and logistics with various parties [ADC Executive Administrators, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, etc.] for both recurring monthly meetings and one-off meetings.
  • Collaborate with ADC Business Planning, HR, & External Business partners to facilitate L&D programming for Executives, Business Theme Leaders and regional planner network.
  • Miscellaneous Activities based on Day-to-Day Job Need.

Basics:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field.
  • Business Operations Certification - Optional; PMI-CAPM Certification - Optional.
  • 1-3 years of experience in engineering, business, communications, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in administrative support and project coordination.
  • MS Office Skills is a Must.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools, Collaboration & AI Platforms.
