Role:

The Estimator collaborates throughout the company to support the bidding process by our sales department by creating estimates and proposals for all our designs, projects, and services.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare written proposals
Develop a detailed description of the project elements and services.
Create estimates from 3D Design and or blueprints.
Calculate exhibit element costs for materials, supplies, and man-hours/labor.
Develop service costs per project, including shipping, installation, dismantling, and electrical.
Create change order estimates.
Vendors RFP's (request for proposals)
Communicate with vendors to obtain costs for proposals.
Proposal timeline and deadlines
New materials and vendor research
Continuously maintain and update the estimating and costs catalog through our internal database.
Recommend the most cost-efficient materials and fabrication methods.
Work directly with the sales team on estimates and proposal requirements.
Create a bill of materials and vendor list for each estimate after the project is sold.
Manage markups
Maintain the internal estimating schedule for projects.
Assist with material purchasing if required.
