Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in accordance with established accounting procedures.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Manage payroll processing, including calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring proper classification and coding of transactions.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial transactions for compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external accountants providing necessary documentation and support.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices, and implement changes as needed to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
