JOB TITLE: Operations Specialist

SALARY RANGE: $24-$28 Per Hour

OVERVIEW Pelsue is the industry leader in manufacturing worker safety products, vehicles & trailers for the telephone, utility, communications and construction industries. We recently moved to a new facility in Aurora and are growing the team!

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to support our Lean roadmap through implementing process improvements, making layout changes, creating Work Instructions, making tooling aides and templates, and supporting Kaizen improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Map shop floor processes and driving improvements
• Work with hand tools & power tools to fabricate benches, boards, and racks
• Layout and facilitate the organization of inventory in the warehouse
• Interpret wiring schematics & engineering drawings, creating work instructions from them
• Maintain a clean & organized work area

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None - However, initiative and leading the way are strongly encouraged.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an assembly factory and will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes at a min).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee will be standing for the majority of their shift. Ability to lift 50 lbs

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work while onsite are Monday through Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm. Overtime may be required on occasion.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required. Experience in manufacturing, assembly or related field preferred. Great attitude and a willingness to learn required.
