Peerless Hospitality Concepts in beautiful Johnson City is now hiring a Restaurant General Manager for a unique concept restaurant in a historical venue!

Ideal candidate will have experience working in high volume restaurants and a have passion for restaurant food service. We are looking for a team-oriented positive Restaurant General Manager who is dedicated to superior service and quality.

Candidate should be high energy, positive, enjoy working in a high-volume atmosphere and work well under pressure while supporting and leading a team. Previous 3 years of Full-Service Restaurant Management is highly desired.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations
Lead the restaurant team to execute policies, procedures and special events
Ensure outstanding service within our dining room, bar and host stand areas and for optimal guest relations
Food, drink and labor cost management
Orchestrate and schedule restaurant team members as needed throughout all shifts
Hire, motivate, supervise, schedule, train, coach and retain team members
Train Front-of-house and Back-of-house team members to increase knowledge about safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles
Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, special events, policy updates and general information to the restaurant team
Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring process of all restaurant employees
Perform weekly team scheduling and assist in inventory
Be able to work opening, mid, and closing shifts at the restaurant
Oversee kitchen management including crew, food quality and appearance

Ability to develop and coach team members
Be able to work in and coordinate a one-location, family-owned bar & casual dining restaurant

Experience: Full Service Restaurant: 3+ years required.

Requirements: Minimum of 4 business references.

Performance bonuses in addition to Salary.
