Job Description

This is a remote position.

Join us as a Full-Time, Technical Project Manager (Software) with a salary range of $65,000 - $80,000, plus an opportunity to participate in an incentive compensation plan based upon performance. You'll play a pivotal role with non-supervisory responsibilities, directly reporting to the Enterprise Services Manager. Be prepared for some adventure with occasional travel (5-10% annually) to customer sites and conventions.

WHO YOU ARE:
As a Technical Project Manager in Software, you'll be in charge of coordinating with clients and their various industries. Your main job is to solve complex challenges with the help of CXT Software's innovative tools. This position is for someone who loves to work in a fast-paced environment where strategic problem-solving is the norm. Can you make a real difference in our clients' daily operations?

Besides managing projects, you'll also need to handle customer expectations. Your success here will depend on your ability to communicate effectively and provide support to make sure clients are satisfied with our software solutions. Your contribution is highly valued and you play a crucial role in our operations.

You'll be involved in every phase of our project management processes, from consulting with clients to understand their needs to delivering tailored and effective software solutions. We're looking for someone who can handle pressure, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and communicate complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way.

We require a key player to ensure all project stakeholders are aligned and well-informed, driving our technology solutions forward effectively. Your role is crucial in driving our company’s growth and maintaining our success in the tech industry.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
  • Client Communication: Engage with clients to define project requirements accurately, scope, and objectives.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor project progress closely, ensuring that all milestones and goals are achieved as planned.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and schedule meetings and phone calls with various contacts to maintain project alignment.
  • Ticket Creation: Generate work tickets as necessary to support cross-departmental collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Detail Orientation: Maintain meticulous attention to detail, especially under pressure.
  • Workflow Management: Utilize Jira and associated project management tools to effectively manage your workload.
  • Software Proficiency: Rapidly master our X Dispatch software suite to enhance project execution.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Showcase superior interpersonal communication skills in all professional interactions.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your experience with software implementations, system configurations, and data conversion.
  • Project Management: Use your project management skills to deliver business analysis and custom solutions.
  • Inquisitive Communication: Comfortably inquire and communicate through all levels of the organization.
  • Multitasking: Excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and shifting focus as required throughout the day.
  • Team Collaboration: Operate effectively within team settings, contributing to overall team success.
  • Support Utilization: Seek guidance from management or experienced team members when necessary.
  • Continuous Learning: Commit to ongoing professional development as technologies evolve.
  • Technical Knowledge: Bring knowledge of API, Webhooks, and software-to-software integration, as well as SSMS/SQL and relational databases.

MUST HAVES:
  • Proven Experience: At least 4 years of demonstrated project management experience.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong understanding of SQL, particularly for data conversion and basic reporting and querying.
  • Tool Expertise: Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence), Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and productivity software like Microsoft Excel or Google Workspace.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ideal Education: A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, equipping candidates with the foundational knowledge crucial for success in this dynamic role.
  • Equivalent Experience: We recognize the value of hands-on experience and practical skills. An equivalent combination of education and professional experience will also be considered, ensuring we include candidates who have developed expertise through diverse paths.

NICE TO HAVES:
  • Certification: Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of B2B SaaS platforms.
  • Industry Experience:
    • Previous experience with the CXT Software product suite.
    • At least two years of experience in the courier, delivery, or logistics industry.
