Propio is rapidly growing and becoming a nationwide force, and we are looking to hire a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This position will be responsible for effective, accurate, and efficient handling of all aspects of building and maintaining sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards.

As a Business Analyst at Propio Language Services, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. You will leverage your skills in Power BI and SQL to create insightful financial reports, dashboards, and analytics. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing financial forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support.

Essential Job Functions

• Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the overall organization with value-add PowerBI dashboards and analysis
• Support stakeholders’ business analytic needs, gather user requirements, help drive adoption
• Deployment of the new dashboard and maintenance of the existing Power BI dashboards for various internal departments
• Handling administrative activities in the Power BI workspace
• Load and manage data collections within the Power BI data inventory to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility
• Design and implement guidelines for creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate data insights
• Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Create and manage a secure archive of reports for historical reference
• Transform data received from various sources into formats that meet both business and technical specifications for end users
• Lead collaborative sessions with various business groups to gather and document BI project requirements
• Connecting various data sources to Power BI (Folder, Files, SharePoint folder, Azure, or such databases)
• Properly document BI processes
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Adhere to data security and privacy best practices
• Perform task independently using advance Power Query steps, DAX formula, Measures, etc.
• Should be creative in terms of producing visuals and showing data in presentable format

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as: Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics
• Minimum of 1 years of hands-on PowerBI experience
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
• Expert data visualization skills (PowerBI, Tableau)
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise data, especially ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, JD Edwards)
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)
• Demonstrated ability to tackle problems across the full data stack, from data wrangling (leveraging SQL or other methodologies) to stakeholder consumption at scale
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Detail-oriented with a high level of precision in data analysis
