Content Marketing Coordinator

Red Mallard is seeking an experienced content marketing coordinator who is ready to help a small but rapidly growing content marketing firm achieve its long-term goals. The Content Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the consistent, timely, and accurate deployment of content on the web, on social media, and via email. The position also has the opportunity to contribute to the company’s data analytics and content strategies.

This position is in-person at our office in Yorba Linda, with the potential for hybrid work with management approval. 

Primary Duties:

Content Deployment

• Publish/schedule/update content to clients’ websites using WordPress and other backend platforms.

• Plan and schedule content to clients’ social media channels, including Facebook,Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. This includes creating and managing the social media content calendar in collaboration with other team members.

• Create, format and schedule e-newsletters using platforms such as Active Campaign. This includes planning what articles/content will be used for each client’s email(s) each month.

• Upload video content to Vimeo, Youtube, or other video platforms.

• Create QR codes when needed.

Reporting

• Create quarterly reports summarizing performance metrics for websites, social media, and email campaigns (Google Analytics, SEMRush, all social media analytics).

Digital Analytics Management

• Update Google My Business for Red Mallard and clients as needed.

• Conduct site audits using SEMrush.

• Conduct routine social media optimization. This includes checking/looking for appropriate social media hashtags to go with client posts on a monthly basis.

• Support lead generation research using Apollo.io and other lead research tools.

Management 

• Use Asana to organize tasks for self and others within the organization as needed to support role. 

• Provide training to team members and or clients as needed.

• Once established in the role, the successful candidate likely will have opportunities to delegate responsibilities to third-party vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of coordinating content deployment across relevant platforms and channels. 

• Working familiarity with Active Campaign and WordPress.

• Positivity, empathy, and compassion for others.

• Detail-oriented approach to project management.

• Proactive, collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem solving.

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in marketing or a related field.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

• An editorial eye for mistakes in written copy and design.

• Skill with common business software applications (Microsoft Office, GSuite) and willingness to master new project management platforms.

• The ideal candidate will have experience researching leads using Apollo.io.
