Administrative Assistant

Wonderful, stable company located in the DTC area is searching for a strong administrative professional to join their existing team!
This position will provide administrative assistance to all departments of the corporation as well as perform general duties on answering, screening and directing phone calls, processing orders, a large workload with the ability to multi-task, and willing to assist where it is most needed, this position requires a happy, optimistic attitude!
JOB DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
Prior experience in general office responsibilities
Heavy inbound phone volume - Answering, screening and directing inbound calls for the sales and support staff
Moderate to heavy Data entry and proficient in Excel/Word/Outlook and Quickbooks
Basic Alpha/Numeric Filing of vendor and customer paperwork
Assisting accounting, purchasing and sales with various tasks and projects.
General office duties, such as inventorying office supplies, filing, maintaining records systems, creating records systems, office mail, email and fax distribution and processing and postal meter mailings.
Office Supply inventory control.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
o Order processing
o General vendor and customer filing
o Attach waybills
o Entering vendor invoices
o Customer invoicing
o QC customer profiles
o Process Packing Lists
o Creating Shipping labels
o Updating daily outbound shipment report
EXPERIENCE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:
Friendly disposition, follows directions and will to do what it takes to get the job done and be an asset to the company!
MS Office Suite knowledge with: word, outlook and excel
Data Entry skills: 10-key AND Alpha/Numeric
Great phone etiquette! Able to answer a busy phone system in a professional and energetic way.
Filing abilities: alphabetical as well as numerical for customer/client files.
Positive attitude and demeanor. Dependable
