Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Family Birthing Center Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. • The location is in Arlington, WA
• The working schedule for this role is 12 hours, 1900-0730
• The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday coverage is not required
• The pay: $85.39 Hourly ($59.00 Taxable, $26.39 Stipend) = $3,074.00 Weekly = $12,296.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administering non-intravenous medications
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses

Qualifications:

• RN required, BSN preferred
• Knowledge of fundamentals of nursing practice and medical surgical and/or critical care nursing
• Washington State RN License required
• 2+ years of experience in Family Birthing as a Registered Nurse
• One year labor and delivery experience required; experience may be substituted by completion of the SRH Nurse Residency Program
• American Heart Association BLS/BCLS, NRP, C-EFM
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
• Basic computer skills
• Professional, friendly attitude
