IT Operations Specialist

The IT Operations Specialist monitors all Washington Health System systems as assigned, to ensure proper operation. Processes production shift schedules and various assigned tasks to ensure all daily inputs and outputs are completed as documented. Provides first level technology support. Configures PC’s and peripherals including basic support.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides 24/7 first level contact and direct incoming calls to correct support group for any onsite departments and any offsite locations of the Washington Health System.
- Running Mainframe batch production (shift specific; WHS Financials, Materials Management and Patient Financials).
- Monitors Financial, Clinical and Ambulatory systems.
- Monitors environmental and building access system for the Information Systems building including UPS system, fire system, air-conditioning, switch closets.
- Monitors multi-system interface console.
Shift: Rotating shifts: Day Shift is 8 am – 4 pm; Evening Shift is 4 pm -12:00 am; Night Shift is 12:00 am – 8 am. Must also be available weekends and holidays.
