IT Director - Digital Healthcare Systems Management, On Site!

We are looking for a collaborative, open-minded leader with experience in digital health care delivery systems and management. As our Director of Digital Technology, you will be responsible for recommending, implementing, management, and oversight of the company’s digital and telecommunications systems. In this position, you will report to the Head of Logistics and Lab Support Services while you work closely with leadership teams.

Responsibilities:
• Design, plan strategically, manage budgets and control all our digital platforms including LIS, client integrations, network and voice systems, desktop support, security, implementation and oversight processes
• Manage and mentor the coders, network and telecommunication personnel for project implementations, maintenance and security
• Responsible for ensuring the network and telecommunications systems are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week for all sites
• Develop and maintain standards for network and telecommunication operations, hardware and electronics, which will maximize the availability of the network and telecommunications systems
• Enforce that digital and telecom staff members follow standards
• Manage telecom and network infrastructure projects and plans to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic direction and initiatives, to foster a high performing work environment, and to mitigate risks
• Review designs offered by engineering staff and provide any guidance or recommendations; participate as a team member when deemed necessary to coordinate designs involving enterprise-wide ramifications
• Utilize network management tools to validate the overall health of the network to obtain maximum functionality and availability
• Provide technical expertise (i.e., tactical and operational) on evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of network and telecommunication systems
• Manage a diverse team to build, scale, deploy and support network and telecommunication systems
• Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapting quickly to new information and re-prioritizing as needed
• Research and implement best practices for telecom and network infrastructure services, including proven infrastructure methodologies, service management processes, and operational support
• Provide oversight of our digital product platforms and technology service delivery
• Work with partners and vendors ensuring our digital solutions meet requirements
• Align technical architecture to business goals and digital strategies
• Provide leadership for technology teams including engineering, development, and support
• Provide scheduling, training, performance monitoring, recruiting, motivating, and engaging for direct staffing reports
• Effectively communicate issues and resolutions, platform(s) performance, and project plans to the rest of the team
• Resolve resourcing issues and foster open communication with staff with the goal of ensuring high employee morale and a promoting a professional atmosphere
• Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional development to keep current in the latest digital health care trends and developments where applicable
• Effectively manage multiple projects and teams with competing deadlines
• Promote a culture of creativity, innovation, and positivity
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT management, leading cross functional teams
• Proficient in HTML, XHTML, mySQL, JavaScript, C#, MVC, and Windows environments
• Design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewall function and maintenance, experience in network protocols, network optimization, and network segmentation
• Expert knowledge of end-to-end network and telecommunications infrastructure and systems within an enterprise environment and cloud environments
• In depth knowledge of network management and network security
• Design, installation and support experience with local and wide area network infrastructures and telecommunication systems
• Ability to project future business needs and develops strategic business plan for expansion and installation of data network and telecommunications infrastructure using state of the art, leading edge multi-technology disciplines
• Ability to make recommendations for short and long term network and telecommunications capacity, configuration and other planning to meet business needs
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including, mentoring, coaching, presentation skills and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
• Background with automating or streamlining processes, technical skills with scripting or automation tools is a plus
• Experience in supporting cloud-based information systems
• Experience in working in and managing remote teams
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
