Position Summary

The Healthcare Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic business development, marketing, community outreach, and referral generation initiatives that increase admissions and strengthen the facility's presence throughout the healthcare community.

You'll work closely with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, assisted living communities, home health agencies, hospice providers, and other healthcare partners to develop lasting relationships that drive census growth.

This position combines healthcare marketing, outside sales, networking, relationship management, admissions support, and community engagement into one rewarding leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and business development plans to increase referrals and occupancy.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, assisted living communities, hospice providers, and referral partners.

  • Drive census growth through proactive outreach and relationship management.

  • Coordinate facility tours, networking events, healthcare meetings, and community outreach initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with the Admissions Director and leadership team to achieve occupancy goals.

  • Manage the facility's social media presence, website content, online reputation, and digital marketing efforts.

  • Analyze referral trends, occupancy reports, and marketing performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.

  • Represent Willow Ridge Rehabilitation at community events, healthcare organizations, and professional networking functions.

  • Assist with planning facility events, educational programs, and community partnerships.

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with CMS, state, federal, and company regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Healthcare Marketing, Business Development, Healthcare Sales, Admissions, Hospital Liaison, Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Senior Living preferred.

  • Proven ability to develop referral relationships and achieve census growth goals.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks, hospital discharge planning, and post-acute care.

  • Excellent communication, networking, public speaking, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

  • Experience with social media, digital marketing, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office preferred.
