The main responsibilities of the Banquet Bartender:

• Serve guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Prepare bar and other specified areas for food and beverage service.
• Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to bar set-up area.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Friendly, warm and welcoming when speaking with internal and external guests.
• Organized, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Preferred qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of full-service bartending experience.
• Experience in luxury hotel banquets is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including AM/PM, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
