WebBits LLC is looking for an experienced Corporate Controller to manage their portfolio of seven companies, primarily in the Corporate Construction Management, Precision Manufacturing Services, Blockchain, Bitcoin, and E-Commerce sectors. This position reports directly to the owners. It is a fully remote, full-time, year-round position. Duties include:

Performing all day-to-day accounting functions of the affiliated companies including:

Bitcoin transaction experience, application and fluency
E-Commerce management experience
AR/AP; including compiling, reconciling, recording, submitting, paying and collecting vendor/customer invoices
Human Resources, including reconciling, compiling and submitting weekly multi-state payroll, employee benefits coordination (dental, vision, 401k plan, etc), including employee withholding and census reports for <50 employees
Intercompany Transactions, Cash-flow monitoring and transfers
Bank/Credit Card Reconciliations
General Ledger Maintenance, including monthly entries
Month and Year-end closings, including reconciling balance sheet accounts
Insurance coordination (multi state workers’ compensation policies, professional and general liability, etc) including solicitation of quotes, annual audits and renewal packets
Cost/Job analysis and financial projections
Monitoring compliance with Federal and State regulations
Administrative support as requested

Requirements:

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, a must
Master’s degree in accounting a plus
CPA a plus
Blockchain and Construction environment experience a plus
Solid understanding of GAAP
Experience in QuickBooks
Ability to think critically and independently to make sound decisions
Extreme organization and internal motivation is critical for success
Able to adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines

Compensation

Salaried, depending on experience and 90-day proof of ability and motivation, starting at $170,000. This is an exempt position.
