General Manager- Paving and Grading Company- Starting at $110K

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and contribute to our growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, bookkeeping, and accounting, and will be capable of leading our team, including a staff of 10, to new heights. Applicants should be adept at reading and analyzing financial statements and ideally possess experience in the construction sector.

**Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 annually**

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Manage daily operations and make pivotal decisions that affect the company's direction.
• Oversee financial management, planning, systems, and controls, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
• Manage the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
• Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
• Directly manage a team of 10 staff members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

**Requirements:**

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role with a focus on finance, bookkeeping, and accounting.
• Ability to read, interpret, and make decisions based on financial statements and other financial data.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, including experience managing small teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
