Job Description

We are seeking a Closing Coordinator to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the real estate transactional items, from signed purchase agreement to close of escrow. This includes ensuring closing paperwork is received, closing processes are completed/reviewed in a timely manner, and responding to customer needs (including agents, title/escrow contacts, and lending partners). This person will ensure the HomeAdvantage portion of each closing transaction is handled accurately and efficiently.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS:

As a Closing Coordinator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

· Communicates and maintains good relationships with agents and assisting with the closing process.

· Coordinates with agent in receiving all necessary HomeAdvantage closing paperwork in a timely manner.

· Escalates any concerns with real estate closing transactions to the appropriate department head.

· Subject matter expert for all closing procedures; facilitating closing transactions from start to finish and communicating to external partners (title/escrow company, lender, real estate agents etc.).

· Prepares and distributes Cash Rewards instructions to all parties.

· Reviews, approves and processes Cash Rewards is processed as requested, and HomeAdvantage referral fees are received in a timely manner.

· Helps support and troubleshoot dashboard and paperwork issues with agents.

· Ensures timely closing of HomeAdvantage opportunities (files), including accurate information input and document collection.

· Recommend new closing processes for efficiency and help create, document, and test those processes.

· Compile and analyze metrics and reports to ensure proper workload distribution.

· Assist with month-end processing and year-end audits.

· Create and edit email and SMS templates as well as tasks and workflows in Salesforce, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities, and timelines to achieve results.

· Exhibits sound judgment and swift decision-making skills.

· Ability to think creatively and come up with solutions.

· Ability to critically review, summarize, and report findings and recommendations.

· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of three years mortgage loan closing, funding and/or escrow experience required.

· Working knowledge of residential real estate lending compliance preferred

· Salesforce experience preferred.

· PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize, and relay information in a meaningful way.

· Experience managing and processing multiple tasks and initiatives.
