Position: Junior Plant Controller (Finance)

Duties & Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Finance Manager, the Junior Plant Controller (Finance) will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and communicating financial and operational data to support plant operations.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the development of budget and forecasts, as well as outlooks/firm ups, and other reports as needed.
• Review margin and profitability, identify variances and understand financial impact.
• Together with Finance Manager and Operations, establish, maintain, and continuously improve a meaningful KPI system for financial and operational guidance.
• Participate in plant’s month end financial close and reporting process including monthly variance analysis.
• Assist and support with performing inventory valuations, reconciliations and reporting, including case by case analysis.
• Support general accounting function.
• Support external audits.
• Support plant projects and/or special initiatives, as required.
• Develop business review presentations and reports for company management.
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance Required
• Experience: Financial/Manufacturing Costing and Analysis

1 -2 years of accounting experience; one year of experience desired

Required:

Good communication skills

ERP system exposure

General accounting

Strong computer skills including use of Excel/PowerPoint

Desired:

SAP experience

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Experience in international context (HGB, etc.)
