CONTROLLER – MANUFACTURING & PLANT FINANCE

Work Setup: Hybrid – 2-3 Days Onsite

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Controller to lead financial operations across its rapidly growing manufacturing platform. This position will serve as a strategic finance leader, partnering closely with plant operations, executive leadership, and manufacturing teams to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong manufacturing finance experience, deep cost accounting expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment. This role offers significant visibility and influence across a vertically integrated manufacturing organization spanning recycling, extrusion, thermoforming, and packaging production.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead accounting and financial reporting activities across manufacturing operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Monitor financial performance and operational profitability
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Maintain strong financial controls and reporting accuracy

Plant Finance & Cost Accounting

  • Own plant financial performance and reporting
  • Manage cost accounting activities across manufacturing operations
  • Oversee inventory valuation processes
  • Perform margin analysis and profitability reporting
  • Manage standard costing methodologies
  • Analyze manufacturing variances and operational performance

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

Required Qualifications
