Director of Training

The Director of training is a driving force in the organization’s mission to provide superb service and attention to our client’s most important asset, their customers. The Director of training will design, distribute, and deliver national training programs to employees and contractors in alignment with the company’s objectives and business strategies. Train, assess, and manage all the company training functions for a largely remote workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop training modules and distribute through multiple digital and in-person platforms including: classroom training, workshops, etc.
- Design, implement and roll out an integrated Learning Management platform to include across multiple mediums for both employees and contractors
- Work with stakeholder groups to continuously improve training and business results through strong feedback loops
- Incorporate construction principles into training curriculum and disseminate through all forms of medium
- Manage the delivery and execution of training throughout multiple departments within the company
- Organize training venues and associated logistics to achieve superior attendance and delivery
- Monitor and report on training activities, costs, performance, effectiveness, etc.
- Identify skill gaps in operational departments and champion training programs to address
- Travel required to company offices
- Additional relevant duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a preference for training roles in the following industries: P&C Insurance, Claims/Field Adjusting, Home Construction
- Preference for candidates experienced with both using and training claims solution platforms, including: Xactimate and Symbility

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting with employees and contractors at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to research and create effective training materials
- Superior verbal communication in one-on-one and group presentations
- Ability to implement a variety of training concepts
- Effective balance multiple tasks and competing stakeholders
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software
- Superior focus on attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
