FTE: 80% (32 hrs/week)
Compensation: $56,800 - $65,600

Job Summary
The Associate Director for Online Student Operations supports the Offices of Enrollment, Admissions, Registration and Advising, and the University overall by serving a special online student population as directed by the Vice President of Development, Enrollment, and Student Success and Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives. The ADOSO is responsible for building, implementing and managing the processes and systems in support of the special online student population, and is primary point of contact at the University for that same population. The Director is a systems and systematic thinker who is deeply committed to customer service, customer satisfaction and building relationships. Success in this role is measured in part by using key performance indicators for systems and functional areas, as well as surveys of the population(s) served. This position manages the admissions, registration, and advising communication plans, including but not limited to content creation, triggers, disbursal, and maintenance. And is the subject matter expert for all things concerning the special student population. This position is remote.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Admissions and Advising
• Manages the student population successfully through the pipeline from application, transfer credit review, registration, and advising. 
• Develops and maintains relationships with prospective students and families from the inquiry stage throughout graduation utilizing various networking and communication tactics and platforms.
• Hosts group and individual information sessions as required.
• Maintains up-to-date information on Naropa’s programs, planning, and policies. 
• Stays up-to-date on matters related to the ADA and student accessibility.
• Meets with special population students as necessary to review transcript evaluations, chart academic plans, and register for courses. 
• Updates the website as needed for these populations. 
Registration and Records Keeping
· Serves as registration coordinator and point of contact for the special online population, auditing admissions requirements, processing files, and registering students for courses with oversight from the Office of the Registrar. 
· Ensures accuracy of special online student population records in institutional databases, including biographical information, test and education records. 
· Tracks student requirements, and process for graduation with oversight from the Office of the Registrar. 
· Monitors and maintains HLC compliance related to special online populations.

Technology Management
• Manages and performs functional administrative duties in Student Information System, CRMs, and portal system such as content updates, improvements and maintaining workflows.
• Ensures data hygiene and integrity in all systems for special online populations.
• Is an integral contributor to efforts that orchestrate and align with the university-wide data management strategy, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness across teams, systems, and operations.

Educational requirement:
• 
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Marketing or Communications, or relevant field.

Minimum length of prior applicable professional experience required:
• 
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in admissions, academic advising, registration and/or CRM administration. 

May prior relevant experience substitute for degree? (If yes, please explain.) Yes

• Four (4) years of experience in one or more of the above-mentioned fields may be used in lieu of degree. 

(PLEASE NOTE: each applicant’s experience and demonstrated skills are assessed on a case-by-case basis as to their relevancy to the position applied for as well as whether they may substitute for required degree.)

Minimum Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and/or Competencies Required:
• 
Proven work experience as a CRM Manager, Director or similar role. 
• Technical expertise with CRM and analytical systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite of applications including Outlook, Excel, Word. 
• Intermediate knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS).
• Analytical skills including high attention to detail, critical thinking to evaluate processes, the ability to analyze data efficiently and problem solving. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. 
• Customer relationship skills to be patient and empathetic when interacting with the special online population and internal colleagues. 

Qualifications Naropa Would Prefer in Candidates for this Position...
• 
Seven (7) years of professional experience as outlined above.
• Master’s degree preferred.
