Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

Essential Job Functions:

  • RN Case Management and Clinical supervision.
  • Establishes and maintains the plan of care and reviews progress to goals.
  • Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.
  • Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.
  • Evaluating the performance of the department and recommending improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
  • Develops and administers corrective measures to ensure safe, quality, and efficient patient care.
  • Fosters a high-performing culture of excellence that drives employee engagement and provides exceptionally reliable, safe, high-quality patient care. Always remember that when you are in the community you reflect the Journey Culture.
  • Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the resident, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


PREFERED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Current Washington state RN license in good standing, BSN preferred.
  • One (3) year of nursing experience
  • Critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Long term Care Experience
  • Preferred vent/ trach experience (required)
  • Infusion/ TPN (preferred)


Compensation:

  • Based on experience


Benefits: Paid Vacation: 14 days paid vacation annually, eligible after 6 months FT work.

Paid Sick Leave: 1 hours of paid sick time off per every week.

Benefits eligible after 3 months FT work: Medical insurance, 401K.

Schedule: Office Hours: Monday- Friday 0800-1630.

This position is apx 50/50 in the field and the office

On-Call rotation.

Company Holidays: New Year's Day (Jan 1), Martin Luther King Jr. Day (third Monday of January), Presidents day (third Monday of February), Memorial Day (last Monday or May), Juneteenth (June 19th), Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day (first Monday of September), Veteran's day (Nov 11th), Thanksgiving day (fourth Thursday in November), Christmas Day (December 25).
