The Director of School Services will play an integral role in nurturing, establishing, and delivering school-based service arrangements. The position will have responsibility for consistent delivery of essential financial, clinical, and operational metrics and require travel to schools/districts for 25% of the time.   ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.    
Primary Responsibilities:  
  • Nurture and build strong, mutually beneficial, and sustainable relationships with school administrators, superintendents, and other school personnel.
  • Negotiate and secure financially sustainable contracting arrangements between Hopebridge and school districts/cooperatives and/or programs.
  • Manage school contracts and budgets to ensure high-quality and timely completion of all required deliverables.
  • Establish and lead a reciprocal feedback loop between Hopebridge and school educators, and administrators.
  • Oversee school service documentation, budget, and invoicing.
  • Contribute to strategic development, implementation, and oversight of school-based services including consultation, training, and staffing models.
  • Ensure national and state level regulatory and policy compliance and standards. procedures are in place and implemented across school-based services.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of well-rounded continuing education events/workshops for internal clinicians.
  • Assist in building and disseminating the brand and associated collateral for Hopebridge school-based services.
  • Represent Hopebridge at local, regional, and state-level educator and school conferences and related professional events.
  • Participate in the creation and delivery of well-rounded school-based continuing education events/workshops for internal staff.

Required Skills
Required Education and Experience    
  • An experienced leader and doctoral/specialist (preferred) level educator/clinician with school services experience.
  • Demonstrated success obtaining federal and/or state grant assistance.
  • Experience with contract negotiation.
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state IDEA requirements.
  • Knowledge and training in school consultation, teacher training, and response-to-intervention.
  • Demonstrated experience with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in school administration, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience.
  • Classroom teaching experience, preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of early childhood/ elementary school special education
  • Passion for delivering supports and services to children with autism
Physical Demands    
This is a position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require lifting, carrying, running, walking, climbing, kneeling, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. May need to lift pediatric population at times (up to 50 lbs).    

Work Environment & Travel  
Work is performed remotely and in a clinical environment (including schools). This position requires up to 25% travel to schools, district offices, and Hopebridge home office. Frequently travels outside the local area and overnight.
