Roofing Estimator/Outside Sales

OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Estimator is responsible for pricing and selling those jobs assigned to them, as well as several support activities. This position requires accuracy, persistence, perseverance, a willingness to learn, and a high degree of integrity and responsibility. An estimator must have the ability to provide quick turnaround of tasks, work well under pressure, manage time and priorities well, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. An estimator must also have the ability to work independently, maintain confidential information, be a team player, make decisions requiring independent judgment, and interpret and apply applicable policies, regulations and rules.

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll bring:

• Prior sales experience
• Proven sales track record
• Ability to demonstrate your knowledge of roofing principals and roofing sales
• Willingness to work as a team player
• Ability to generate new leads
• Valid Driver’s License and have access to a vehicle able to carry ladders
• Competitive spirit and excellent communication skills
• Insurance claim experience
• Ability to climb a ladder
• Perform roof and property inspections
• Act as the liaison between carriers and clients
• Detail Oriented

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires standing up for long periods of time
• Requires climbing ladders, scaffolds.
• Requires considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body in order to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handling materials
• Requires seeing details at close range

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
