Role Description The Commercial Roofing Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves identifying and developing new commercial roofing opportunities, conducting site visits, and assessing customer needs and building conditions. The individual will prepare estimates and proposals, present roofing solutions to clients, and manage the sales process from initial contact through contract signing. Daily activities include coordinating with project managers and field teams, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. The role also requires staying informed about roofing products, industry trends, and local market conditions to support effective sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of roofing systems and Roofs to understand project requirements and communicate technical solutions.
  • Ability to work safely at elevation, including Working at Height in compliance with all safety standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with Carpentry related to roof structures, enabling clear discussion of structural considerations with clients and crews.
  • Understanding of Insulation and Waterproofing principles to explain energy efficiency and moisture protection benefits to customers.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, construction sales, or commercial roofing sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present solutions to decision-makers.
  • Comfort using CRM software and basic office applications to manage leads, proposals, and follow-up activities.
  • Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions and collaborate closely with field and office teams.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites in the Naples, FL area.
  • Relevant experience in construction, roofing, or building materials; formal training or certifications in roofing or construction are a plus.
