Job description

CCR Roofing Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Salesperson to join our team. This position requires strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repairs, full roof replacements, insurance-related storm claims, inspections, documentation, estimating, and long-term roof budget planning.

This is a full-time position offering a $65,000 annual base salary plus commission based on the net profitability of each completed job. A company truck, fuel, cell phone, and all necessary inspection and documentation equipment are provided.

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL ROOFING POSITION.

The Commercial Roofing Salesperson will manage each opportunity from the initial lead through inspection, estimating, presentation, and sale. Once the project is sold and the complete file is handed over to production, CCR Roofing’s production team will manage the project from production through final collection. This allows the salesperson to remain focused on generating leads, meeting customers, and selling the next project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage commercial roofing opportunities from the initial lead through the completed sale
• Schedule and perform commercial roof inspections
• Inspect and evaluate commercial roofing systems
• Determine whether a roofing system is repairable or requires restoration or full replacement
• Understand and accurately estimate commercial roof repairs and complete roof replacement projects
• Inspect and document hail, wind, and other storm-related damage
• Assist commercial property owners throughout the insurance claim process
• Meet with insurance adjusters, consultants, property managers, school officials, facility managers, and other decision-makers
• Prepare detailed documentation and estimates for insurance-related storm claims
• Work with schools and other commercial facilities to plan and budget for future roof repairs and replacements
• Help customers prioritize roof sections based on condition, urgency, expected service life, and available budgets
• Develop short-term and long-term roofing recommendations that support capital improvement and annual budget planning
• Identify deficiencies, leaks, storm damage, and other areas of concern
• Take extensive, well-organized inspection photographs
• Accurately identify and document roofing materials, components, penetrations, drainage systems, flashing details, and existing conditions
• Complete all inspections and documentation according to CCR Roofing’s required procedures
• Obtain accurate measurements and prepare detailed estimates
• Present inspection findings, repair options, replacement recommendations, budget plans, and insurance-related scopes to customers
• Follow up with customers and close approved projects
• Prepare a complete and accurate project file for handoff to the production department
• Run qualified leads provided by CCR Roofing
• Consistently generate new commercial roofing opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and communicate with management each week
• Travel throughout CCR Roofing’s service area as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Commercial roofing experience is required
• Commercial roofing sales and estimating experience is strongly preferred
• Experience estimating complete commercial roof replacement projects
• Experience inspecting and documenting hail, wind, and other storm-related damage
• Understanding of the commercial property insurance claim process
• Ability to communicate and work professionally with insurance adjusters and consultants
• Ability to work with school administrators, facility managers, property managers, and commercial building owners
• Ability to help customers plan and budget for future roof repairs and replacements
• Ability to understand and estimate common commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, coatings, and metal roofing
• Strong understanding of commercial roof repairs and repairability
• Knowledge of commercial roofing terminology, materials, installation methods, and components
• Ability to take thorough, high-quality inspection photographs and accurately document roof conditions
• Ability to prepare detailed and accurate estimates
• Strong communication, organization, presentation, and customer-service skills
• Comfortable generating new leads in addition to working company-provided leads
• Able to work independently, manage appointments, and maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays

Our commercial salespeople manage each opportunity from the initial lead through the completed sale. Once the project is sold and the file is ready for production, CCR Roofing’s production department takes over and manages the project through completion and collection.
