We are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our dynamic team in Detroit. As the heartbeat of our establishment, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusiveness, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, embodying our commitment to impeccable service and culinary excellence.
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with executive chef and senior management to run promotions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar leadership role in an upscale dining establishment.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Passion for hospitality and a dedication to delivering unparalleled dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
