About the Situation: We are hiring for the position of Head of E-commerce and Digital Marketing for our clients. This is not for a position at our agency.

As a trusted partner, we will assist in connecting and preparing candidates for interviews, leveraging our expertise and insights to ensure you are well-prepared and positioned as the perfect fit for our clients' teams. You'll have the opportunity to explore exciting career opportunities and potentially be placed onto one of our clients' internal teams. Our clients include leading brands in the industry such as The North Face, Foot Locker, and Movado, among others.

About the Role: As the Head of E-commerce and Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for maximizing the business impact of our marketing media investment. This role entails developing and executing e-commerce strategies, overseeing digital marketing initiatives, and optimizing the customer experience across all digital touchpoints. You will lead a cross-functional team, collaborate with external partners, and drive innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies and partnerships.
  • Enhance customer experience and retention through data-driven insights.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts and ensure cohesive branding.
  • Manage technology platforms and collaborate with IT teams.
  • Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Forge strategic partnerships and manage vendor relationships.
  • Navigate matrixed organizations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Stay abreast of media trends and drive innovation.
  • Align creative needs with marketing objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement across teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through e-commerce channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, make decisions, and problem solve.
  • Experience in consumer products or fashion is a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to set priorities effectively.
