Jubilee is seeking a visionary Head of Content who combines strategic thinking, creative excellence, and strong people leadership. You will lead our Creative team, elevate our content across all platforms, and shape new shows that provoke understanding, spark empathy, and create meaningful human connection. You are passionate about content for young audiences, fearless in experimentation, and capable of translating insights into high-performing, mission-driven productions.

What You'll Do:

Lead Creative Excellence & Vision

  • Define a clear creative vision and strategic roadmap for Jubilee's content
  • Drive creative innovation, elevating existing shows while developing new, mission-aligned content that resonates with audiences and positions Jubilee as a cultural leader.
  • Provide high-level guidance and support to department heads while giving ownership to Senior Creatives, ensuring ideas are fully developed and executed efficiently
  • Bring a fresh perspective that expands creative horizons, reflecting both the diversity of our audience and emerging cultural trends.

Talent-First Strategy

  • Implement and advocate for a talent-first approach across productions, balancing cost implications with strong judgment on prioritization.
  • Support casting and post-production teams, leveraging your network of talent or agencies to elevate our shows.
  • Mentor and grow creative leaders, helping them think strategically while building their managerial and creative capabilities.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance

  • Define clear success metrics for shows and pilots, using analytics to assess performance, identify opportunities, and propose iterative improvements.
  • Use audience insights and YouTube analytics to guide programming, content topics, and distribution strategy across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain transparency with the team about performance and benchmarks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Strategic, Financial & Operational Leadership

  • Own and manage creative budgets, balancing risk-taking with financial awareness to maximize ROI on shows and pilots.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Brand Partnerships, and Creative teams to optimize production costs, revenue streams, and scheduling strategies.
  • Make high-level strategic decisions about prioritization and resource allocation, ensuring the team focuses on the most impactful initiatives. Contribute to company-wide strategic conversations, influencing the overall direction of Jubilee's content, brand, and audience growth.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Impact

  • Partner closely with HR on recruitment and development of creative talent.
  • Work with cross-functional teamsincluding Production, Finance, Analytics, and Brand Partnershipsto execute creative strategies effectively.

Work Model At Jubilee, we follow a hybrid work model We're in the El Segundo office 3 days a week and remote for 2. So, you'll need to be local or ready to make the move!
