Position Summary:

TCL North America is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Head of Content & Creative to lead and scale our end-to-end content and creative ecosystem across all product categories. This role will drive creative direction, content operations, and multiโ€‘channel execution across retail, digital, social, and goโ€‘toโ€‘market touchpoints.

As a senior leader within the Marketing organization, you will oversee campaign creative, product storytelling, retail content systems, and production workflows that support commercial growth and product launches. You will lead a highโ€‘performing team across design, copy, video, and content production while partnering closely with Product Marketing, IMC, Digital, Retail.com, and Sales teams to deliver highโ€‘impact, conversionโ€‘focused content across the customer journey.

The ideal candidate combines creative leadership with operational discipline and thrives in a fastโ€‘paced, globally matrixed environment. This individual understands how to turn product innovation into scalable content systems that improve execution speed, retail readiness, and business performance.

Duties may include but are not limited to: Creative Strategy and Brand Storytelling
  • Define and drive creative direction across TCL product categories in alignment with company guidelines and commercial objectives
  • Develop scalable storytelling frameworks across retail, digital, social, PR, and campaign channels
  • Translate product features, innovation, and consumer insights into compelling creative outputs
  • Lead development of launch creative, key visuals, product videos, retail assets, and campaign deliverables
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all customerโ€‘facing creative touchpoints
Content Systems and Scalable Execution
  • Build and scale modular content systems that improve speed, consistency, and execution across channels
  • Establish playbooks and production standards across PDP, A+, video, social, retail demos, and campaign toolkits
  • Oversee endโ€‘toโ€‘end content planning and production timelines for major launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Ensure content is optimized for digital performance, conversion, retailer requirements, and omnichannel readiness
  • Improve workflows, asset management, templates, and production efficiency across internal and external teams
Team Leadership and Creative Excellence
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multiโ€‘disciplinary team across creative, copy, video, and production functions
  • Maintain a high standard of execution quality, operational accountability, and creative consistency
  • Foster a collaborative, fastโ€‘moving environment focused on ownership and continuous improvement
  • Manage external agencies, production vendors, freelancers, and creative partners as needed
Crossโ€‘Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to develop launch narratives and productโ€‘focused creative strategies
  • Collaborate with IMC and Digital teams to align creative execution with campaign timing and channel strategy
  • Work with Retail.com and Retail Activation teams to deliver retailerโ€‘ready content that supports conversion and sellโ€‘through
  • Coordinate with centralized teams to ensure alignment across messaging, creative standards, and launch priorities
  • Partner with analytics and product intelligence teams to support performance optimization and AIโ€‘enabled content workflows
Qualification/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, Film, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive creative leadership experience within consumer electronics, technology, gaming, entertainment, or agency environments
  • Strong portfolio showcasing campaign creative, product storytelling, retail experiences, video content, and multiโ€‘channel execution
  • Proven experience building scalable content systems, production operations, or internal creative studios
  • Deep understanding of retail.com ecosystems, including PDP and A+ content development
  • Strong knowledge of digital content performance, consumer behavior, and conversionโ€‘focused creative strategy
  • Expertise in creative direction, visual storytelling, copy development, and production management
  • Demonstrated success leading highโ€‘performing creative and content teams
  • Strong communication and crossโ€‘functional leadership skills within matrixed organizations
  • Operationally strong with experience improving workflows, systems, timelines, and production scalability
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with AIโ€‘assisted creative workflows and emerging content technologies
  • Background in consumer electronics, smart home, gaming, mobile, or fastโ€‘paced technology categories
  • Experience operating within a global organization and navigating HQโ€‘toโ€‘market collaboration
  • Familiarity with major retail partners including Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Costco, Tโ€‘Mobile, and Verizon
