WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A RESTAURANT FOH MANAGER

• 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant or another hospitality business
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills
• Excellent team-building skills

It's not required, but a high school diploma or equivalent would be preferred. You delegate tasks and provide feedback to your team, so strong communication skills are a must. Things can get busy, so you need to be able to remain calm while under pressure and keep up in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and observational skills are also vital. WHAT DOES A RESTAURANT FOH MANAGER DO?

In this dynamic position, you coordinate closely with our management team to ensure every meal service is perfect and our customers all leave feeling happy and full. Every day is different as you perform a variety of tasks depending on business needs. You're responsible for overseeing our inventory, staff, cash payments, and overall costs. You adjust your focus as needed to make sure all of these areas are in optimal condition.

When our general manager is gone, you step up and take charge of our daily operations. You motivate your team members to do their best while respectfully addressing any problems you see. As each day passes, you make sure every guest has an amazing experience by providing unmatched customer service.
