Job description

Restaurant Manager

Fine-Dining Mediterranean Concept

An established hospitality group is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of an upscale, chef-driven Mediterranean restaurant.

This is an opportunity for a polished hospitality professional who thrives in a high-touch service environment and understands that exceptional dining experiences are built through preparation, precision, and genuine care. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading from the dining room floor, developing a team, engaging with guests, and managing the operational details behind a successful service.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily front-of-house operations while working closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and ownership team. This leader will help maintain elevated service standards, strengthen team performance, and ensure every guest receives a thoughtful and memorable experience.

This is a hands-on management position. We are looking for someone who leads visibly, communicates clearly, and remains composed and solutions-focused throughout demanding services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively manage the dining room during service
  • Formal wine service
  • Maintain polished fine-dining service and hospitality standards
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities
  • Coach, develop, and hold front-of-house team members accountable
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training
  • Build guest relationships and confidently manage service recovery
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, wine, cocktails, and spirits
  • Monitor reservations, pacing, table turns, and overall guest flow
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, payroll review, and administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol-service standards
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to maintain consistency between the kitchen and dining room
  • Protect the restaurant’s standards for cleanliness, organization, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Support sales-building initiatives, special events, and private dining experiences

Ideal Qualifications

  • At least two years of restaurant management experience in a fine-dining, upscale, or chef-driven concept
  • Strong working knowledge of elevated steps of service
  • Experience managing high-volume or high-expectation dining rooms
  • Confident understanding of food, wine, cocktails, and beverage service
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to coach a team and establish clear accountability
  • Professional appearance and a polished, approachable presence
  • Calm decision-making and a strong sense of urgency
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Experience with modern restaurant POS, reservation, and scheduling platforms

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance-based growth opportunities
  • A professional, chef-driven work environment
  • The opportunity to help shape the culture and standards of an ambitious concept
  • Support from an experienced hospitality leadership team
  • Benefits and paid time off for eligible employees
  • Health Insurance

We are seeking a career-minded leader who respects the craft of hospitality and takes pride in developing both people and memorable guest experiences.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply with a current résumé. All applications and conversations will be handled confidentially.

This is an equal-opportunity employer.
