Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, fostering a positive work environment focused on employee orientation and development.
  • Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize sales and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store budgeting to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on sales techniques, POS systems, and phone etiquette.
  • Monitor store performance metrics using retail math principles; manage shift schedules and supervise team members to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven restaurant management experience at least 1 year in retail environments with supervising or assistant manager roles in a high volume, fast paced, large staff environment.
  • Optional Opportunity to go to San Francisco for 1 month of Store Manager Training from Corporate prior to opening new restaurant location (Hotel/Food/Travel all Included!)
  • Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail setting.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling, bookkeeping, and retail math.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in team management, sales management, merchandising, and store operations.
  • Effective communication skills coupled with a professional phone etiquette; capable of managing customer service interactions with confidence.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes, marketing strategies, stock stocking procedures, and inventory control techniques.
  • Previous experience in grocery stores or similar retail sectors is advantageous; familiarity with wireless sales is a bonus.
