Crackers & Co. Café are a small group of family owned, family style breakfast and lunch restaurant's established over 39 years ago, right here in Mesa Arizona, and still going strong. We believe the reason for this is our excellent food, genuine employees and wonderful long-term, repeat guests. We are seeking a very customer service orientated Restaurant General Manager who can effectively lead team members and provide personalized, exceptional service to ensure every customer receives excellent customer service and leaves happy.
We are a daytime only concept, open from 7am til 2pm daily so no more working late nights. This job is ideal for those wanting to spend quality time with family and friends in the evening. Being established over 38 years we've built up a very large following of wonderful, repeat and loyal customer base because of our amazing food and service, which has earned us a great reputation. Minimum qualifications candidate must have a minimum 3 or more years experience managing a breakfast / lunch, full service family style restaurant. Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely loves working with the public. Someone who really enjoys building a rapport with our guest's, getting to know many by name, their personal story and their Cracker's favorites.
Someone who has the experience, knows and understands how to be a leader, how to earn their team's respect. But also, at a minimum, have a decent understanding of the basic's it takes to build a good, profitable business. They should be someone who can create a warm, cozy, friendly and team work atmosphere for everyone.
Someone who has the uncommon, common sense. Able to think on their feet, creatively solve problems, to be eager and have initiative to learn. We want you to learn and adapt the "Cracker's Way" while applying your restaurant management and life experiences to successfully implement them.
We have built a business around our great and high quality food, great customer service and cleanliness. That sounds very basic, simple and easy but a whole lot goes into making great food, great customer service and cleanliness. And that's day in and day out, come rain or shine.
You must display a positive attitude and demonstrate the ability to function as part of a team. You'll be working alongside your crew, instinctively knowing when to assist them. Knowing the difference between helping them versus doing their job.

Open/close restaurant

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 or more years managing a full service, sit down, family style breakfast/lunch concept.

- Excellent written and communication skills
- Highly proficient speaking and writing in the English language
- Strong attention to detail
