Position Summary

The essence of this role is to lead and coordinate prebuilds to ensure the projects are completed on time and within scope. This individual will be communicating with stakeholder, managing resources, and resolving issues that may arise during the build. This is a hands on roll in which the individual will be building, modifying, and deconstructing playground equipment.

High-performing, creative, and flexible team member who is willing to work with less structure and is willing to change the schedule as needed to execute to the requirements of the business and utilize available equipment resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

Read blueprints and able to measure, cut, and assemble products based on prints.
Assemble parts that are too complex to be assembled in the field.
Plans and oversees the building process of various custom projects from start to finish
Responsible for overseeing daily operations for complex projects to ensure the completion in a safe and efficient manner
Coordinating and overseeing the work of the project team
Ensuring that the project stays on schedule
Communicating with stakeholders to keep them updated on the progress of projects
Actively participates in project builds (welding, using power tools, packaging, etc.)
Responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are followed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field or proven experience as a custom builder or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, reps, and team members.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
