Job Site Location:

Arlington, Mesquite, Plano, and Prosper, TX

Pay Rate:

$18.00/hr

Schedule:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday – Friday

Overtime Available?

Possible; some days run late to 6pm

Job Summary:

Will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with various clinical and administrative tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Medical Assistant duties (Back office and Front office)
Rooming patients
Vitals
EMR Data entry (Medial history/vitals/HPI/Imaging reports)
Administrative tasks (Faxing/emailing/scanning medical records/uploading imaging)
Answering phones (appointment confirmation/general questions/etc)
Injection procedure assistance, operating room equipment
Greeting patients, checking them in
Setting up the clinic and procedure room
Additional duties based on the clinic need
Live Spanish interpretation

Strong organization skills
- This is a busy office and keeping your to-do list current and up-to-date is essential to avoid forgetting key responsibilities.
EMR experience
Vitals signs
Phlebotomy
IV placement is a bonus
Respectful, strong customer service skills
CPR/BLS certification
Excellent communication skills
Team player
Strong computer skills (fast typing, able to navigate Microsoft 365:word/outlook/one drive/MS teams/cloud based EMR/VoIP-Internet phone system)
Ability to deescalate confrontational situations. Calm demeanor.
Employee must physically be able to move quickly and be able to help patients onto the procedure table, help them off the procedure table, and push/pull/slide the X-Ray equipment in the procedure room.
Quick learning with on-the job training
Spanish/English bilingual fluent and confident
Valid Driver’s License
Willing and able to commute to all 4 locations
- Monday – Plano, TX
- Tuesday – Arlington and Mesquite, TX
- Wednesday – Arlington, TX
- Thursday – Prosper, TX
- Friday – Arlington and Mesquite, TX

Education and Experience:

Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Some college preferred or High School Diploma. Must have 2 years of recent experience.
