The Food and Beverage Director at Cambria Riverview - Charleston is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the hotel's dining and beverage services. This is a full-time management role, located in Charleston, South Carolina, and is a crucial part of the hotel's operations and overall guest experience. This individual will work closely with the hotel's management team to ensure that food and beverage services are of the highest quality and meet the needs and expectations of our guests.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, paid biweekly. Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and banquet.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve the quality, service, and profitability of food and beverage operations.
• Train, motivate, and manage a team of food and beverage staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy their dining and beverage experiences.
• Monitor and control food and beverage costs, inventory, and equipment maintenance to ensure profitability.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring they reflect current food and beverage trends and meet the guests' needs and expectations.
• Work closely with the sales and events team to plan and execute successful banquets, meetings, and other special events.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting for the food and beverage department.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and trends to continually improve food and beverage services.

Requirements:
• Experience using Micros POS is a plus, but not required. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food and beverage management role.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and food and beverage management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
