Payroll Supervisor

TSG is representing a growing medical device company seeking to hire a Payroll Supervisor. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll handle bi-weekly payroll processing for 200+ exempt employees, manage employee records, and assist with workers comp and 401k audits. $85-105k salary target plus bonus & hybrid/remote schedule

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process payroll with accuracy and timeliness using NetSuite ERP.
• Manage timecards and ensure proper completion and approval.
• Complete year-end reporting such as W-2 and W-2c accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate data in the Paycor HRIS system and handle employee record setup and changes.
• Interpret pay policies and ensure correct calculations and deductions.
• Stay updated with federal and state payroll requirements and laws.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll tax filings and set up new accounts with agencies.
• Maintain employee demographic data in stock option systems.
• Coordinate internal audits and insurance renewals.
• Ensure timely funding and reconciliation of benefits and 401k.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 + years of payroll experience or 5 + years of professional payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of Excel and able to utilize Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and COUNTIF.
• Full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience, preferably with Paycor HRIS.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and benefits.
• Understanding of federal and state payroll regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proactive in staying updated with pay practices and regulations.
• CPP designation preferred.
