Openwork is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for a manufacturing company in Buford, Georgia. In this

In the Business Development Manager role you will be responsible for:
- Drive sales growth by identifying, qualifying, and establishing value-selling relationships with new customers within the automotive market space.
Job Duties:
- Maintain accurate log of visit reports, contacts, quotations, and sales pipeline
opportunities via SF.com. - Assist finance with collection as necessary
- Assist quality and R&D with data gathering, root-cause analysis, and complaint
resolution, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Degree in Plastics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or combination of other education and extensive engineering nylon industrial experience
- Minimum 10-years of experience in the automotive sector, preferably selling engineering thermoplastics at the OEM and Tier 1 level
- Experience with automotive specifications, testing standards, material selection methodology is required
Technical capabilities – molding, compounding, formulation, or design engineering.
