Location: Austin, TX
Base Salary: $45,000-$60,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission (1st year OTE $60k-$80k +)

Business Development Representative (Furniture/Design Industry) Description

Our client in the furniture & design industry is looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team in Austin, TX. This is an in-office position, but you can move to a hybrid schedule once you are fully acclimated. You will qualify leads for the Account Managers by following up on warm leads and driving new business by setting appointments with furniture stores and designers over the phone. Our client is seeking someone goal-oriented with at least one year of inside sales experience and excellent phone communication skills. Business Development Representative (Furniture/Design Industry) Responsibilities

• Qualify leads for Account Managers
• Follow up on warm leads
• Generate new sales opportunities
• Contact potential customers and set appointments
• Research the market online
• Update CRM status
• Utilize a consultative sales approach
• Respond to customer requests
• Collaborate with Account Managers on leads
• Nurture existing client base
• Become knowledgeable about the company’s product line

Business Development Representative (Furniture/Design Industry) Qualifications

• 1+ years of Inside sales experience required
• Prior experience following up on warm leads/ cold calling required
• Basic excel experience required
• Ability to work in the office required
