Project Engineer - Commercial Drywall

Job description

Well Established Commercial Drywall Company seeking Project Engineer in Pueblo, CO. Large backlog and looking to add to our team. We are posting Confidentially as prefer not to be contacted by recruiters .

Duties to include:

• Establish and implement job procedures, techniques and document controls, shop drawing approval and flow of project information.
• Coordinate preparation of front-end documents for job specific safety requirements: JHA, Safety Manuals, QA/QC Program.
• Documentation of all significant project events, e.g., delays, change orders, injuries, notices, etc.
• Full project documentation to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, material delivery and project flow.
• Excel in communication skills to develop and maintain good relationship with the project team.
• Participate in preconstruction services and activities as required.
• Complete all job close-out procedures and warranty follow-up.
• Coordinate and monitor project construction schedules.
• Manage and assemble all submittal packages and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Tracking project material and buyout.
• Assist in ensuring the work is built in accordance with the contract documents.
• Quality control / Quality Assurance.
• Assist in developing schedule of values and preparing monthly billings.

Requirements/ Experience:

• Knowledge of commercial construction principles, techniques, and procedures
• Experience in reading plans and specifications
• Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum 1 years experience in the commercial construction trade
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Safety Oriented
• On Screen Takeoff and Quickbid experience a plus.
• Plangrid and Procore experience a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Must have valid drivers license.
