You Will
  • Provides Accounting and Bookkeeping Support including:
  • Input/data entry in ERP and Reviews data entered on ERP by Accounting Clerks.
  • Collects and maintain detailed records.
  • Balancing and reconciling accounts.
  • Performing analyses and verifying data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigates GL issues or concerns and respond promptly.
  • Prepares/reviews reconciliation packages.
  • Prepare financial reports and account analysis.
  • Prepares and maintains account schedules (i.e. other liabilities, amortization, prepaid, etc.).
  • Prepares and post recurrent entries.
  • Maintains the Chart of Accounts.
  • Posts adjustment entries as directed by Controller or Accounting Supervisor.
  • Daily download of financial reports and update electronic files.
  • Works on ad-hoc projects assigned by the Director of Accounting.
  • Assists and provides backup for Rebates calculation process, ACH requests, Visa & Amex processing.
  • Review the integrity of the subsidiaries financial closing process.
  • Involved in accounting month end/year end processes.
  • Supports and provides guidance to Accounting Clerk or Accounts Receivable Clerk.
  • Assists with internal and external audit requests.
  • Executes internal controls related to assigned areas and tasks.

You Have
  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field a plus. Associate degree at a minimum.
  • 4 + years of experience in similar accounting functions.
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and other relevant computer applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Sage 500 and NetSuite highly desirable)
  • Position is based in Miami, FL.
