The Opportunity:
Multiple physician practices in the NJ Metro area are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their leadership team. In this critical role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple practices, ensuring their efficient and successful delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the affiliated practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, practice administrators, and the finance team to develop and implement operational initiatives that optimize efficiency, profitability, and patient satisfaction.
- Manage real estate contracts and negotiations.
- Develop and oversee marketing strategies for the practices.
- Manage and optimize equipment and office supplies across all locations.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a high-performing staff.
- Navigate and resolve day-to-day operational issues with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that celebrates diversity and respects multiple personalities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing complex operations.
- Physician practice experience highly preferred.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare (preferred). Bachelor's degree with significant healthcare leadership experience may be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing and motivating diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and healthcare specific software applications.
