HSL LEAD

Hickory Senior Living (HSL) is looking for talented, accounting focused, individuals for their Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program.  The general goal of the program is for applicants to learn, perform, and then train others on critical financial operations while being exposed to special projects and granted significant access to the Executive Team.  With HSL focusing on growth, the secondary objective of the program will be for the company to identify candidates for leadership positions in the future.

Highlights:

-          Approximate program term will be two years, where high production candidates could be offered longer term, permanent positions within the company.

-          Six to nine-month rotations in all financial operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Budgeting/Forecasting, Human Resources, and special projects.

-          Position will report directly to different Managers, based on the applicable rotation, but the program is overseen by the CFO.

-          Competitive salary and eligible for benefits after the successful completion of the introductory period.

Education Requirements:

-          A bachelor’s degree in a business discipline with upper level (300+) accounting coursework preferred, but not required.

Applicant Characteristics:

-          Self-starter, learns quickly, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done quickly and correctly, highly proficient in Excel and MS Office suite, works well in a team atmosphere, eager to learn the backbone of business with a positive attitude.
