Production Engineer

Our Company seeks a dynamic Production Engineer to focus on yacht mechanical and electrical systems. This person will work closely with the production floor to manage the design and implementation of all mechanical and electrical systems of the yachts. This person will work closely with process improvements, new product development and trouble shooting.

In addition, the Production Engineer will…

· Design & document using CAD tools, mechanical systems, AC, DC, and network yacht electrical systems.

· Supervise installation and verification of electrical systems.

· Work with production to solve issues and troubleshoot yacht electrical systems.

· Develop bills of materials for electrical and mechanical systems.

· Assure compliance of electrical systems with governing bodies.

· Develop & maintain mechanical and electrical drawings for yacht owner’s manuals.

· Support engineering in various areas including mechanical and structural design.

· Ensure all quality goals and industry best practice standards are met.

Qualifications –

· 4 year Engineering degree (preferred)

· 3 year’s experience in yacht engineering or electrical systems

· Skilled at 2D + 3D CAD and Microsoft Office software

· Understanding of AC & DC electrical systems

· Strategic, operational, and technical management skills

· Strong communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills

· RHINO 3D experience a plus

· SolidEdge 3D experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,885.53 per year
