Purchasing & Pricing Assistant

Interior Exterior Building Supply, the number one commercial and residential building material supplier in the Southeast, is searching for a Purchasing & Pricing Assistant for our Corporate Office in New Orleans, LA!

Job Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
• Data entry, updating customer pricing records, types reports, memoranda, and other documents.
• Researches vendors and collects prices to assist in updating system vendor pricing.
• Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing and pricing department.
• Purchases goods and services according to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels.
• Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as supply costs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of clerical experience preferred.
