Key Responsibilities:

- Optimize the deployment of company assets and workforce to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Establish objectives and provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and achievement of department goals.

- Engage in high-level strategic planning, working in tandem with fellow managers and staff to develop and enforce policies, procedures, and operational targets.

- Cultivate a supportive and positive workplace culture, acknowledging team contributions and ensuring robust internal communication.

- Collaborate with the Sales Team to enhance revenue streams and profitability through strategic network adjustments and lane optimizations.

- Manage disciplinary processes, including documentation and participation in termination decisions.

- Oversee recruitment, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions to ensure a competent and stable workforce.

- Contribute to the creation and execution of service standards and operational procedures to meet performance targets and customer satisfaction benchmarks.

- Uphold customer satisfaction by offering solutions, managing escalations, and addressing driver concerns proactively.

- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, promoting a secure and clean working environment.

- Lead and inspire continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Experience Requirements:

- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Trucking or Transportation sector.

- At least 2 years in a managerial role within Operations or Logistics.

- Demonstrated proficiency in training, supervising, and directing staff.

- Familiarity with Prophecy & Motive software will be considered an asset.

- Experience in scaling and developing a business operation.

- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting daily operations (e.g., DOT regulations at both national and state levels).

- Exceptional leadership qualities with a hands-on approach to management.

- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.

- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of effective problem-solving.
