The Accounts Payable Manager is a member of the exciting client services accounting department and the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the accounts payable process, monthly bank account reconciliations, month end reporting on strict deadlines, seafarer payroll administration, monthly funding requests and annual budget activities with variance reporting.

In addition to the above, the position requires:

1. Desire to be a key contributor to the firm’s success.
2. Success in leading and supervising accounting staff members.
3. Having a positive and collaborative manner with other accounting team members and inter-departmental managers while reporting to the Department Manager, the Director of Operations and the Executive team.
4. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or at least three years experience as an accountant.
5. Full cycle accounting experience.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
